About the Role:

As a CBRE Facilities and Compliance Director, you will lead all aspects of the department responsible for handling the delivery of all facilities, quality and compliance results for services provided to clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship. Oversea the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department goals. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Handle all contractual agreement aspects and ensure that the company is staffed to achieve the quality deliverables committed in those contracts.

  • Evaluate, select, implement, and actualize best practices across the client portfolio.

  • Research, create, and align quality initiatives with current requirements. Direct continuous improvement objectives for both company and the client.

  • Handle capital project and operating budget reports for properties. Builds action plans to improve financial position.

  • Direct facility management staff to deliver service levels within prescribed budget to the client.

  • Coordinate vendor management program and approve all vendors.

  • Guide corrective and preventative actions to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple subject areas, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.

  • Identify and tackle multifaceted, operational, and organizational problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department.

  • Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and balance problems.

  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments’ results within a function.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Expert interpersonal skills and an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $180,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
