Summary

Executive Producer (Advertising)

Amp is looking for an Executive Producer to manage and create content including: photography, video, social, motion graphics and 3D design.

The Executive Producer is responsible for all creative production outputs including every aspect of content from pre-production through post-production, planning to execution. This includes seamlessly managing all aspects of production, overseeing project workflow, communication with clients and managing top-tier talent both inside and outside of our own team. An ideal candidate will bring vision as well as executional prowess to manage and grow content for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a client-facing member of the Production team, able to articulate all aspects of pre to post-production to clients with varying degrees of knowledge.

  • Coordinate production logistics across multiple teams including Creative, Account Services, production partners/vendor, and clients.

  • Collaborate with Account Services and Creative to develop production estimates.

  • Accountable for management of production budgets, bids, estimates, invoices and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget deliverables.

  • Oversee talent and music negotiations including stock music, custom track creation, and the licensing process for established tracks.

  • Travel on-set to shoots and manage productions.

  • Create and manage agency production partner roster.

  • Stay on top of industry trends, techniques and new developments in the production space.

Qualifications:

  • Mastery of production process and ability to integrate, adapt and lead projects of varying scope and complexity.

  • Excellent ability to organize, prioritize and multitask.

  • 8+ years of production experience within an ad agency (broadcast, social & brand).

  • Must be a proven leader with experience overseeing and managing client teams and post-production resources.

  • Passion for creating great work. We are looking for someone who is excited to lead and shape our clients' creative content outputs.

  • Experience coordinating production resources for editors, motion graphics artists, and photographers/videographers.

  • Expert communicator, adept at engaging all levels of contributors working with different types of creative professionals and a variety of creative outputs.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage projects across multiple work streams simultaneously.

  • In-depth conceptual and structural understanding of editing, animation, and CGI.

  • Mastery of many aspects of photo and video production, including 2D and 3D animation, CGI and live-action productions.

  • Experience managing small to large scale production budgets.

  • In-depth understanding of the production partner and vendor landscape, including relationships with directors, editors, VFX, sound engineers, musicians, etc.

  • Experience with licensing and rights management.

  • Mastery of critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other creative departments and teams.

  • Ability to travel and work on-set.

  • Exemplifies dynamism; flexing between the big picture and small details.

  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, self-motivation, resourcefulness and drive for results in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The Sr Producer will work with various Creative departments and vendors on assigned projects for our Clients. This role will liaison between accounting, technology, creative and delivery teams and will learn everything about project management in the interactive/creative worlds.

Job Duty

  • Project Management: Developing detailed, client facing digital project scopes of work that include project technical requirements, timeline, budget, and required reporting. Manages digital projects from concept to completion which includes managing collaboration between internal development teams and external partners.

  • Tools & Operations: Works with client teams to ensure consistent billing across projects. Manages development vendor relationships to track billing and maintenance. Regularly identifies current and relevant tools to keep web standards and deliverables up to date.

  • Quality Assurance: Serves as QA support for the development team by creating QA checklists and liaising between account and dev teams to pass off assets and review.

  • Strategy: Works with the VP of Digital to represent technology innovation, strategy and processes through all phases of a project from discovery to deployment. Works with the VP of Digital to identify and explore opportunities to cross-sell digital services and expand on existing client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Marketing, Media or Arts

5+ Years of experience in Agency Marketing

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of web builds, online advertising and media buy for flash banners, rich media, and mobile

• Experience working with multiple personalities in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to create, maintain and drive a weekly production schedule

• Ability to work as part of a team, share ideas; offer and accept constructive reviews

• Outstanding communication skills, detail oriented and extremely organized.

• Strong leadership skills and ability to present confidently

• Passionate about digital and social marketing

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
