Sodexo Executive Chef 1 in BOSTON, Massachusetts

Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 1 for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (West Campus) located in Boston, MA . In this role you will work mostly early morning and day time hours Monday-Friday, but will need the flexibility to work as the manager on duty every third weekend. In this role you will assist with patient meal experience in this 400+ bed hospital as well as retail and catering preparation.

The successful candidate will:

  • work with the Head Executive Chef, and support all patient food service needs

  • implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for the hospital

  • maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements

  • provide direction to all front line associates

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
