Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of food items following recipe guidelines and using proper techniques, including knife skills, meat cutting, frying, baking, salad making, and wrap assembly
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, such as combi ovens and fryers, ensuring they are in proper working condition
Delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient kitchen operations, maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation while preventing cross-contamination and managing food allergens
Take and record food temperatures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations, and communicate regularly with the concession management team to ensure smooth operations
Assist in creating new menu ideas and specialty items, ensuring all foods are prepared and ready for service in specialty food stands
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and performing various cooking techniques
Ability to follow recipes and understand food abbreviations
Basic math skills for measurements and inventory management
Knowledge of food allergens and cross-contamination prevention
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods, including bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching
Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
