Kforce Communications Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client in search of a Communications Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:We want a person on our team who can shape content across multiple formats - presentation, video, executive summary, etc. - and multiple channels. We need someone who is a self-starter, comfortable interacting with busy executives and with minimal supervision. This person must have the ability to take a wide variety of information and turn it into a clear and concise message, constructing communication considering audience, timing and desired impact. This person must quickly grasp a storyline and develop crisp, professional content.Your Impact:

  • Work with our Chief Technology Officer and other executives, their Chief of Staff, and direct and extended team to develop and publish content focused on executive viewpoints, industry trends and customer successes

  • Design and execute internal communications that appeal to a wide audience

  • Innovate around content and presentations

  • Must be comfortable with and enjoy collaborating at all levels across the enterprise

  • Constructs communication and recommends strategy, considering tone of message, audience, timing and desired impact

  • Track toward content goals, adopting and following shared processes, and appropriately implement new programs and best practices as assigned by leadership

  • Maintains current understanding of global technology and operations (GTO) key products and programs at various stages for the purpose of communicating

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-3 years relevant experience

  • Understanding of content development and editorial factors

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills

  • Efficient project management skills, including working under tight timelines

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment in communications, marketing, graphic design, or relevant role

  • Abilities in planning and coordinating people to get the assignment done

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Enjoys creating new content but can leverage and know when to re-purpose past material

  • Ability to manage uncertainty and anticipate outcomes

  • Attention to detail including proofreading for spelling and grammatical errors

  • Experience with video editing and presentation platforms

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team

  • Effective communications experience in corporate, matrixed environment a plus

  • This position requires the ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with internal/external customers and stakeholders
