    The Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN orLPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a varietyof individualized patient care activities and related non-professional servicesnecessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

    EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains patient confidentiality of all clients

  • Performs duties within scope of practice, as assigned, in an accurate and timely manner

  • Adheres to facility/client policy, procedures and protocols at all times

  • Assists doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers with treatments, procedures, and tests being performed in a variety of patient care settings

  • Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions

  • Notifies the supervising nurse of any abnormal findings or conditions

  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilities

  • Other duties as assigned
