Position Overview:

Join our team at 400 Bordentown-Hedding Rd. Bordentown, NJ 08505! We're searching for experienced maintenance technicians for 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm).

Responsibilities:

As the Maintenance Technician you will repair and maintain all Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE) and associated equipment to support the goals of the Distribution Center. You will also, complete Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing repairs and other building tasks will be required. You will report to a Facilities Supervisor at the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance tasks for PIE fleet.

  • Perform battery changes on PIE.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on batteries and the battery changing equipment.

  • Perform repairs to picking carts, trash gondolas and other warehouse support assets.

  • Complete assigned projects to support Operations Departments.

  • Perform basic building repairs, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry repairs.

  • Maintain shop equipment including cranes, drill presses, stand grinders, welding equipment, presses (hydraulic/pneumatic), jacks, jack stands, band saws and several other pieces of equipment.

  • Assist Facilities team.

  • Perform tasks such as fire watch, removing and installing of conveyor and welding /burning projects.

  • General shop housekeeping and stock keeping responsibilities.

  • Utilization of CMMS to enter daily Maintenance Activities.

  • Remain current in training for LOTO, NFPA/NEC standards and other Measurement, as required by policies.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • One or more years of building and equipment maintenance experience

  • Complete all company forms and paperwork.

  • Can frequently lift, push, and slide practices, typically weighing 50-75lbs.

  • Knowledge and application of safe work practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts, and proper tool usage.

  • Develop skills through ongoing training.

  • Vocational high school or equivalent training.

  • Experience using electrical multi-meters, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, gauges, etc.

  • Interpret Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) drawings and schematics.
