Sekisui Aerospace Laminator Lead - 1st Shift in Bonney Lake, Washington

We are continuing to grow! We are currently accepting applications for an upcoming Laminator Lead need at our Sumner location. Laminator Lead Location: Sumner, WA Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts per week! Pay: $21.30/hr - $29.00/hr Position Team Leads are workers who have a high degree of technical proficiency in their jobs, who serve as intermediaries between their supervisor and employees. Team leaders serve as mentors and trainers for their work area. With this dual role, the job description(s) of the jobs in the area also apply to the Team Lead. Assembly Responsibilities include: Provide direction and scheduling to production team members in their daily activities. Assigning work and giving directions. Monitor work progress. Communicate with all departments, logistics, engineering, and production management (to include management on other shifts), needs, priorities, and issues. Promote flow and pull of products and information to internal and ultimately external customers. Investigate and fix problems on the production floor. Coach, mentor, and develop team members by investigating root cause for scrap and RMA issues. Work with team and quality department to prevent recurrence. Train and orient new employees on company standards and procedures. Implement 5S tools and reduce variation in the work environment. Develop employees' continuous improvement abilities. Use and develop visual systems so that no problems are hidden. Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior. Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback. Work with composite materials according to the manufacturing plan and instructions, wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for the curing process, to form composite parts. Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning, reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor. Verify materials being used are according to the manufacturing planVerify part ID tag and sign off on work performed. Adhere to schedules and time allowances for production requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Strong technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing and the area/department assigned to. Communicate in a clear, approachable, professional and pro-active manner, Provide strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining perspective. Be creative, flexible and able to drive/guide change. Ability to multi-task, follow through and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Capability to develop and coach individuals to higher performance.
