Cardinal Health Manager, Strategic Sourcing Indirect in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines
Job Description
Global Sourcing is responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best cost and competitive advantages that benefit customers, suppliers and patients. Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration. Competitive advantage is created through supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, supply chain optimization and risk mitigation. Responsible for developing and executing strategy to source indirect goods and services to support our business stakeholders and programs. Perform analysis in order to select supplier and negotiate best value for Cardinal Health. Provide supplier relationship management and contract compliance management, including maximization of financial deliverables and risk mitigation. May work within various procurement systems to execute purchase orders and resolve technical issues as identified.
Accountabilities
Indirect Sourcing Category Lead for assigned categories
Primary Sourcing business partner support for key stakeholders within assigned indirect categories
Work closely with indirect suppliers to source indirect goods and services
Initiate, negotiate and finalize new indirect supplier contracts and maintain existing indirect supplier contracts
Resource for Indirect Procurement team regarding Data Privacy Agreements
Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) events within assigned indirect categories
Drive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholders
Review and approve Ariba purchase requests within assigned categories
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred
8-12 years of experience in related field
Strategic Sourcing (indirect or direct) experience
Understanding of various commodities within the enterprise, including labor, IT, Hardware and Software
Advanced Excel skills
Supplier management, contracting and negotiation experience
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally and inclusively.
