As an Operations Central Team Senior Engineer, Spares Engineering, you will be a member of the worldwide front end manufacturing team responsible for driving improvement with spare part management. This position is dependent on partnership with Central Process Equipment Engineering, Process and Equipment Engineering, Cost Teams, Global Procurement, Global Quality, and other business partners to achieve Micron’s strategic objective and goals.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Manage/Support the spare performance improvement activities with groups such as Technology Development, Manufacturing, Global Procurement and internal Operations Central Teams to meet Global Operation’s Strategies Programs - Cost/Scale/Quality/Cycle Time (Speed) goal

  • Provide technical consulting and hands-on assistance to Fab area teams to create and/or identify the best solutions, improve existing solutions, and deploy new solutions.

  • Promote worldwide sharing and transfer of area-specific domain knowledge

  • Manage or drive standardization between sites regarding spare management issue, reports, and systems through the System Workforce Allocation Team (SWAT) or other appropriate means.

  • Supervise and communicate progress to partners

  • Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years experience in equipment engineering at a semiconductor company

  • Good communication skills

  • Dry-etch experience preferred, but open to other process areas as well

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
