Primary Skills, Abilities, and Responsibilities:
- Provides pricing and promotional recommendations and solutions for business decisions using transactional data and advanced trend analysis.
- Evaluates and measures department key performance indicators to provide pricing and promotional recommendations to Category Managers.
- Create new tools and capabilities to manage inventory and pricing initiatives across the organization.
- Create the 12-month rolling promotional forecast utilizing historical data, current trends, and statistical models to facilitate the agreement of a consensus business plan.
- Prepare promotional order guide for operations prior to every ordering period, by comparing multiple cost offerings across multiple suppliers.
- Execute retail price update decisions based on cost updates and departmental margin targets.
- Support the annual financial plan and budgeting process. Providing risks and opportunities when needed.
- Tracking and reporting of KPIs and objectives, being able to present KPIs, Product Reviews, forecasts, etc. to Leadership team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain dashboard reporting to support a continuous improvement of the supply chain based on metric driven decisions.
- Conduct SKU analysis to create line architecture targets for endcaps and buy-in areas for the Category and Marketing team each promotional period.
