Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range. The starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
Field Service Technician (Electrical) experience will be responsible for trouble-shooting, service, repair and maintenance of Xylem electrical products in a safe and efficient manner. Commercial driver license preferred (Class A).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Dissemble, diagnose, repair and service our Flygt pump equipment
Troubleshoot electrical systems and pump systems; repair/rebuild as necessary using computerized diagnostic tools
Troubleshoot and make electrical repairs to electrical control equipment including electric motors, VFDs, flowmeters and PLCs
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and service; diagnose and report any damage
Perform diagnostic checks using computer technology
Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality
Maintain a safe work environment by following EHS&S guidelines, policies, and best practices
Operate a service truck and respond to customer repair calls as needed
Perform related duties as assigned
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
QUALIFICATIONS :
One - Three years’ experience servicing and repair of industrial diesel or electrical equipment
Commercial driver license preferred (Class A)
DOT Medical card preferred.
Experience with variable frequency drives and PLC controls preferred
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form at multiple levels
Ability to read and comprehend electrical wiring schematics and mechanical drawings
Knowledge of single phase and three phase electrical systems as well as DC systems
Service and repair knowledge of electrical equipment
SALARY : The estimated salary range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. DAY IN THE LIFE : In this role, the shop & field working environment is subject to temperature fluctuations, noise, and fumes within limits of OSHA standards. The physical demands may include but not limited to sitting and standing for long periods of time, reaching, bending and moving about the facility and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.

$45,000.00 - $72,000.00
