Micron Technology, Inc. Design Manager, Global Facilities in Boise, Idaho

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

-Responsible for the design and engineering of all Micron’s major manufacturing and cleanroom projects in USA.

-Provide project leadership for technical engineering and design execution.

-Assemble a team of engineering specialists and assess feasibility of new projects.

-Lead development of more detailed scope through field walks and collaboration with facilities operations partners and project engineers.

-Serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution.

-Be the primary leaders who manage overall project scope, schedule, and cost of engineering.

-Interface and coordinate with contract design, construction, scheduling, and estimating resources.

-Work with facilities staff and project managers.

-Lead the effort of engineers who define design criteria, lead scope definition and justification, and develop design concepts.

-Oversee completion of positioning, programming and detailed design.

-Work with estimators to ensure costs are captured and project budgets are met.

-Ensure implementation of change control process to improve standards and drive innovative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field with 6+ years of experience in Facilities in a Front-End Semiconductor Manufacturing environment

-Experience in operations and maintenance in Facilities will be very helpful.

-Project Management Experience with relevant certificates will be an added advantage.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$109,000.00 - $198,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
