The Micron Studio Project Manager position will lead production and traffic aspects of creative deliverables and must clearly define timing, scope of work, and materials for all projects and interface regularly with collaborators cross the business. Projects may include but are not limited to event and campaign assets, videos (live and animation), photography, digital assets (web, social, paid advertising and email banners), presentation design, and long-form reports.

Studio Project Manager Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key team members, understand the business and be a trusted partner, to successfully interpret requests into creative briefs.

  • Own and optimize workflows through and across our teams and how collaborators get along with the Micron Studio.

  • Build and manage project status dashboards across the GCM Studio ensuring there’s visibility across the team and sponsors.

  • Build long- and short-term schedules, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.

  • Manage resource planning of shared resources and assign projects to creative team members best positioned to deliver specific assets.

  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project to ensure end success.

  • Serve as a point of contact for project RAPID partners to ensure team actions remain in harmony.

  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs for the project change.

Day to Day:

  • Manage creative requests and gather scope info, assign resources, and work with the requestor and creative team to build work back schedules.

  • Communicate key achievements.

  • Communicate the project plan internally.

  • Produce Workfront reports for plan owners and management (e.g., traffic reports, time sheets).

  • Communicate frequently with RAPID team members.

  • Manage creative deliverable reviews.

  • Adhere to the critical path and have a plan to mitigate issues that invariably arise.

Education and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience as a project manager in creative production environment.

  • Knowledge of creative production processes, workflow and the ability to provide time estimates for production work.

  • Must have expert organization skills.

  • Extreme attention to detail.

  • Excellent in people management.

  • Experience in working directly with clients to develop “win/win” solutions.

  • Strong client service experience, follow-up judgement.

  • Strong ability to multitask.

  • Outstanding presentation skills – both verbally and written.

  • Ability to respond and satisfy changing needs throughout the creative development process.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Experience working with workflow tools highly desired (Workfront).
