Company Overview\ Home Instead is the worlds trusted source of non-medical companionship and home care services for seniors. Our services include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, laundry, errands, escorting to appointments and personal care. No certifications required; training will be provided. All clients and staff speak only English and work is conducted only in English.

\ Primary Responsibilities:\ Reflect the values of KUWT Jones, LLC, d.b.a. Home Instead 707 in all interactions with office staff and clients, both current and prospective.\ Provide non-medical services for our clients to promote independence and quality of life:\ o Companionship, engagement and conversation\ o Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc.)\ o Meal preparation and planning, errands, shopping, and escorting to appointments.\ o Work with clients who have Dementia/Alzheimer\'s disease. (Training is provided)\ o Personal care, hands-on assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, incontinence care, etc.\ o Medication services, hospice support, RN delegated tasks\ Keep a written record and/or electronic record of all activities performed in a clients home.\ Report on all hours worked on the same day you provide services. Clock in/out correctly.\ Read training manuals and complete tests (written or electronic) within required deadlines which are in English.\ Attend required training and/or meetings.\ Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Attributes\ Have RELIABLE transportation to/from your clients homes.

Friendly, compassionate, competent, resilient, resourceful, and creative\ Must have 20-40 hours of availability and work no less than 10 hours per week.\ Household skills, basic cooking skills and basic cleaning skills\ Personal or professional caregiving experience preferred.\ 2 personal and 2 professional references\ Successfully pass a criminal background and driving record check\ Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening\ Be able to speak, read and write in English to complete job duties\ Job functions require the ability to: be fluent in English and the ability to stand, walk, drive, bend, twist, kneel, reach, push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 pounds\ Disclose any limitations and provide documentation to support the ability or restrictions on performing any of the essential job functions before accepting assignments\ Be able to download and access our mobile schedule application Well Sky to successfully complete your documenting and timekeeping duties
