A Day in the Life
You will:
Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare internal and external financial reports.
Maintain or oversee the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statementsfinancial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
Support the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures and internal controls.
Providetechnical support and accounting of M&A activities.
Research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
Must Haves
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or administrative areas
4 years of experience in General Accounting
Fluent in communication in English and Spanish (writing & speaking)
Good critical thinking
Knowledge with Microsoft Office Excel
Knowledge with MS Office suite
Team player
Strong quantitative analytical skills
People skills
Nice to Haves
Knowledge in SAP
Experience auditing financial processes and records
Demonstrated ability to manage to tight deadlines, along with flexibility to changing priorities
Willingness and ability to perform financial analysis
Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish group objectives
