McDermott Completions Coordinator in Boden, Sweden
Job Overview:
To lead the completions effort to achieve the Mechanical Completion of the facility and handover to Client. Reports to the Commissioning Manager and responsible for coordinating the development of system packages and handover documentation. To ensure the system packages are defined correctly in the database and in accordance with current handover strategy to Client. To ensure system data integrity in the Project’s selected Completions Management System, in accordance with the Completions Plan. Understanding of key Engineering drawings for systemization and completion activities is essential. Candidate will have strong analytical and attention to detail with experience in data manipulation. Knowledge of the PCMS Pro completions system would be desirable. At Site, the Completions Coordinator is responsible for coordination of walk downs and punch list activities for Mechanical Completion, Ready for Commissioning, Ready for Start-Up activities during the EPC project execution in accordance with the approved Completions Plan and/or procedure(s). Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationships. The project is in the Green Hydrogen Market and the position will commence in The Hague office before transferring to Site at Boden, Sweden.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Completions Plan for the project
Performs coordination of completion activities between Quality, Construction, Commissioning and Client personnel as necessary and monitor the field activities in an orderly manner according to commissioning priorities
Make sure all Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Completion Check Sheets are completed and signed off in the Project’s selected Completions Management System
Makes sure all punch items and preservation activities are completed and signed off in the Project’s selected Completions Management System
Co-ordinate the preparation and upkeep of the Master Punch Lists and Exception Lists for each package
Compilation of system packages electronically or hard copied in accordance with contractual obligations
Set up and population of progress reports for issue to defined distribution
Interface with the Sub-contractors on site for all completion activities
Review interfaces with Vendors and Third Parties
Assist the Quality group in compiling project final handover documentation for submission to Client
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Preferably a degree Engineering or Information Technology but not essential
Must have a minimal of 5 years’ experience on EPC projects as a Completions Specialist / Coordinator / Administrator
Must have experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in a Completions position
Experience with one of more of the following completions systems: PCMS Pro, WinPCS, Co-console, ICAPS or ProCoSys is desirable but other Completions Management Systems will be considered
Understanding of key Engineering drawings such as P&IDs, SLDs, I&C architecture, telecom block diagrams, unit plot plans, etc.
Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of construction and commissioning activities
Must have a thorough understanding of the handover, walk down and punch listing processes
Must have a thorough understanding of compiling system / handover packages.
Must have a good understanding of preservation and maintenance activities
Able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers
Must have excellent computer software skills in MS Office suite as a minimum
Knowledge of Power BI reports would be useful
Must have good Presentation skills for meetings with Construction and Client
Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to the needs of various discipline groups
Must have the ability to assess and communicate project requirements and expectations in a clearly defined, positive and productive manner
Proficiency in English, Multi-Language skills a plus
