Lowery Manufacturing Parts Dept. Associate in Boaz, Alabama
Person who takes raw steel to various machines (breaks, drill press, punch, shear and plasma cutters) to bend, cut or put holes in material to be welded. You'll be required to learn to drive a forklifts, demonstrate retention of materials and you must demonstrate verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills including the ability to follow guidelines and templates! You must be able to read a tape measure (1/8's, 1/16's, 1/4's). No previous experience required but experience using iron workers drill a plus. You must provide your own tape measure, soap stone and square. Applicants must have steel toe boots, two forms of identification and pass a drug test. Hours: 7:00-3:30, M-F Comparable pay, BCBS Insurance, company paid Life Insurance and Short Term Disability, paid vacation and holidays - after 90 days.
