Controls Technician Opportunity- Bluffton, IN
Job Description
This company is a leading manufacturer of electric motors and electrical components for industrial automation equipment, power and distribution transformers, liquid power coatings and electrical insulating varnishes. As a controls tech, you'll be responsible for performing maintenance- related duties on the industrial automation equipment at the plant. You will also hold responsibilities in assisting the integration of new equipment and working with external technicians to ensure proper installment. Some additional job responsibilities are listed below:
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with automation engineering department
Use AutoCAD electrical to develop/edit drawings of electrical systems and/or hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Identify equipment and/or components in need of replacement (relays, fuses, circuit breakers, wiring, etc.)
Perform process improvements on the industrial automation equipment
Required Qualifications:
An Associates Degree (Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, etc.)
3+ years of Controls/ Automation Technician experience
Proficient with Rockwell PLCs (RSLogix, ControlLogix)
Experience within industrial manufacturing
