What we’re looking for
Toyota’s Assembly Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to positively impact the Assembly shop’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and Hoshin activities.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Assembly shop’s objective to safely and effectively improve KPIs to build the best quality vehicle in the safest manner possible.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting BEV launch at another NAMC on LTA assignment (6-12 months)
Cross-shop collaboration
Equipment installation
Pokeyoke installation and management
Managing projects to positively achieve company Hoshin objectives
What you bring
This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position
Toyota Assembly experience
Assembly SOAR experience
Kanban and equipment installation experience
Must have delta management and control plan experience
Autodesk Inventor design experience for jig and equipment modification/redesign
Must be able to create Maintenance and Engineering instruction sheets
COHE lockout and OSHA 10 training certification
Assembly model change experience
Estic, Atlas, and Uryu tooling experience
Keyence and Banner vision system setup experience
Ability to develop and learn BEV vehicle systems through LTA at another NAMC to bring experience and skillset back to TMMMS
Added bonus if you have

Eiger, Prusa, and MakerBot 3-D printing experience
SMS-BR experience
Qualias knowledge
Roffin printer experience
