Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas eCommerce Product Specialist in Blue Springs, Missouri
This position is responsible for selecting donated merchandise to sell online. This can also include recognizing authenticity of incoming items, bundling items to meet a minimum threshold, as well as making a decision to return certain items to the retail store. This position also includes basic warehouse management duties including staging, and maintaining an organized warehouse flow.

Assisting with research to verify authenticity
Responsible for staging incoming merchandise, and upkeep of warehouse flow
Shelving daily listed items in warehouse locations
Meeting production numbers as set by divisional management
Maintaining an acceptable Accept to Reject ratio for incoming donations
Ensuring loss prevention guidelines are followed
Assisting the eBooks department as needed
Maintaining the safety, cleanliness and organization of the eCommerce area to help facilitate success of eCommerce team
Communicating safety or loss prevention issues to ensure quick resolution
All other duties assigned by the eCommerce Manager
This job operates in a warehouse setting.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a physical role. The employee must have the ability to communicate verbally and apply active listening skills and bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach, and stand as necessary. This role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull medium weight up to 50 pounds. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked change in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel
This is a non-exempt position. Hours vary based on the needs of the business which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
The eCommerce Product Specialist will be a proven leader with the following:
Knowledge of unusual, valuable or collectible merchandise
Strong knowledge of internet research skills
Proficiency in Windows and Office environments
High school diploma or equivalent required, retail experience helpful
A valid license, current insurance and good driving record
Outstanding research and troubleshooting abilities, including on-line research
Proven exceptional writing, grammar and spelling skills
Familiarity with a warehousing and/or shipping environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to deal with dust and/or mold
