Work Type: Part Time Eligible

Hours Per Week: No Hours Assigned

Work Schedule: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Summary:

Prepare patient, catered and/or cafeteria meals keeping food safe at all times. Deliver and pick up patient trays documenting intake and communicating any feedback to applicable coworkers. Deliver menus to patients and assist in filling them out as needed. Participate in completing and documenting daily and weekly clean up.

  • Follows all work rules and policies

  • Request scheduled time off using EBT approval form

  • Follow department procedure for calling in for unscheduled time off- illness and family emergencies

  • Maintains courteous and professional manner at all times to patients, families, visitors and co-workers by displaying patience and tact in all such dealings

  • Prepares meals in a timely and attractive manner

  • Reliable and responsible with attendance and adherence to schedules

  • Makes self available upon patient requests

  • Participates in quality control/performance improvement activities

  • Observes safety rules/regulations/policies and procedures

  • Prepares meals according to standardized recipes provided

  • Takes action to ensure food safety by properly storing, preparing, cooking and serving food at safe amounts of time and temperatures

  • Proper handwashing techniques will be followed at all times

  • Contributes in efforts to improve productivity and cost control

  • Proper use of organization property and equipment

  • Work regularly scheduled budgeted hours

  • Demonstrates knowledge of basic and modified patient diets

  • Attends and participates in department meetings and in-services

  • Completes all Healthstream yearly employee in-service education

  • Maintains ServSafe Sanitation Certificate
