Summary: The SKF Industrial OEM sales organization continues down a path of accelerated profitable sales growth.  The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing, developing and implementing initiatives and activities designed to improve our customer engagement and increase sales. As an output of these objectives, we are looking for an individual with strong motivation to manage and develop new opportunities and overall sales growth for SKF USA Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products.  The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the ownership of daily sales activities for assigned OEM's. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter that possesses strong verbal and written communications.  This would include a thorough knowledge of the SKF business processes supporting sales transactions both internally and externally.  The selected candidate will be part of a high performing team that will include Strategic Sales Managers, Applications Engineering, Quality, Sales and Customer Solutions. This position reports to the OEM Strategic Sales Director. The Off Highway (OHW) business team strategy will require a support role of an Inside Sales team member, to accelerate this growth of top and bottom line sales. Responsibilities (including but not limited to:) Responsible for sales support for entire OEM OHW Strategic Sales Managers growing OHW region sales and increasing profitability. Identifying areas of growth at existing customer base, while improving profitability, and demonstrating movement of the opportunity pipeline. Goal #1 is to engage and grow sales at 200 new customers. Goal #2 is to improve customer experience and provide sales support to existing 600 customers. Growing sales at new customers in the OHW segment, by making proactive calls at new and existing customers, and fielding inquiries as they come in. Actively evaluate the demand trend of existing customers to immediately capitalize and/or recover on sales opportunities. Proactively work with our internal analytics to identify demand gaps (aligning with planning), and sales opportunities to capitalize on. Identify new areas of sales support (ie: quotation database mining) for the 6 OHW Strategic Account Managers. Promote SKF technologies and identify areas of value where we can win at existing customer base, as well as at new customers. Work with product line and Business Development to generate quality leads for the Strategic Sales Managers to close. Responsible for exceeding business plan sales targets of Opportunity Pipeline, Sales and Profitability. Job Requirements: Bachelor degree is required Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service or Engineering Proven inside sales experience, preferably in the bearing or industrial parts industry is a plus! Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn product specifications. Excellent communication negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
