Summary: The SKF Industrial OEM sales organization continues down a path of accelerated sales growth. The District Account Manager is responsible for managing, developing and implementing initiatives and activities designed to improve our customer engagement and increase sales. As an output of these objectives we are looking for an individual with strong motivation to manage and develop new opportunities and overall  sales growth for SKF USA Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the ownership of daily sales activities for assigned OEM's. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter that possesses strong verbal and written communications. This would include a thorough knowledge of the SKF business processes supporting sales transactions both internally and externally. The selected candidate will be part of a high performing team that will include District Sales Manager, Applications Engineering, Quality Sales and Customer Solutions. This position reports to the Regional Sales Director. Responsibilities: Manage the account portfolio. Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to promote the company's bearing products. Provide technical support and product information to customers. Generate new business and manage existing accounts to achieve sales targets. Grow the business (existing and new customers). Support pricing strategies and maintain pricing. Negotiate offers and value sell. Lead follow up and generation. Review and plan develop a call plan for dormant accounts. Develop territory sales strategy and action plans with District Sales Manager(s). Project management, managing complex bid packages/RFQ's. Ownership of the customer's PPAP requirements. Support key initiatives- product launches, price increase, etc. Apply confidentiality, tact and discretion in dealing with people. Job Requirements: Bachelor degree is preferred. Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service or Engineering. Proven inside sales experience, preferably in the bearing or industrial parts industry is a plus! Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn product specifications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent planning, organizational and administrative skills. Self-motivated and execution focused with an ability to meet deadlines. Must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and winning mindset. Willing to travel 25%.
