Robert Half Telecommunications Engineer in Blue Ash, Ohio

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Telecommunications Engineer in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in BLUE ASH, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading customer-facing Teams Voice deployments, while also handling issues related to telecommunications networks and equipment in multiple corporate locations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidation of voice telecommunications, networks, and equipment across various corporate locations

• Provide support to the telecommunications team for any escalated issues

• Handle complex issues impacting network infrastructure and collaborate with vendors for voice services upgrade

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Cisco router, switch, firewall, UCS, and voice solutions to resolve issues

• Maintain and support current Cisco SBC’s, Teams, and Cisco configurations

• Identify, diagnose and resolve VoIP, and Data (Unified Communications) general component issues

• Structure, plan, estimate, deliver, deploy, and operate services, connectivity, and network infrastructure supporting an enterprise architecture

• Build technical artifacts for engineering and operational teams

• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior engineers, offering training and support as required

• Resolve escalated network and security support issues

Skills:

• Proficiency in Cisco CCNA, CCNA Technologies, VoIP, Cisco Routers, Unified Communication, TCP/IP, TCP/IP Networking, TCP/IP Protocol, UCS, Voice Gateway

Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco CCNA and CCNA Technologies

• Experience with VoIP and Unified Communication

• Knowledge and understanding of Cisco Routers and Voice Gateway

• Proficiency in TCP/IP, TCP/IP Networking, and TCP/IP Protocol

• Understanding of UCS (Unified Computing System)

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a healthcare setting

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with IT and healthcare teams

• Familiarity with the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
