Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Accounting) or 2years experience in multi-statesales, property or income tax. Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate MS-Excel skills Experience in a manufacturing environment Role Responsibilities: Monthly preparation of supporting workpapers & filing of domestic and Canadian sales/use tax returns. Preparation and entry of journal entries. Reconciliation of payable accounts. Preparation of annual personal property tax returns. Monthly reconciliation of property tax payable accounts. Payment of property tax bills. Support Manager during sales/use, property tax and other SALT tax audits. Reconciliation of other state/local tax accounts as assigned. Preparation of annual Foundation workpapers and tax returns. Preparation of annual data center refund request for fixed assets. Coordination of other data center expenses and refund filing with 3rd party consultants Identification of annual accrual of estimated refund for fixed assets. Review of bi-weekly Tax Hold reports and provision of advice to A/P for resolution. Maintenance of exemption certificate management system. Resolution of customer exemption inquiries from internal/external sources and preparation of tax adjustments for entry by Accounts Receivable. Preparation and payment of business licenses, annual reports, DE franchise taxes, etc. Identification of potential use tax liabilities/overpayments and resolution with internal/external customers. Calculation of royalty amounts for foreign subsidiaries.
