Our client, a very well-respected Tax Controversy law firm is seeking a talented Tax Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The firm are made up of top Attorneys and Tax Professional Paralegals that help Minnesota businesses and individuals resolve tax-related matters. Excellent client service is a key tenet of the firm's dna.
What You'll Do:
As a Tax Paralegal, you'll play a crucial role in supporting tax attorneys in all aspects of their practice. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, preparing tax documents and forms, assisting with tax audits and appeals, and maintaining organized case files. You'll also have the opportunity to communicate with clients, government agencies, and other parties to gather information and resolve tax-related issues. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact by helping our clients navigate complex tax laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Tax Paralegal: While prior experience is preferred, we're open to candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of tax law.
Strong understanding of tax law: You should have a solid foundation in tax law concepts and be familiar with tax codes, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously is essential to success in this role.
Attention to detail: Precision and accuracy are critical when working with complex tax documents and forms.
Strong communication skills: You'll be interacting with clients, attorneys, and government agencies on a regular basis, so effective communication skills are a must.
Proficiency in legal research: Experience conducting legal research using online databases and resources is highly desirable.
Team player mentality: Collaboration is key to our success, so we're seeking candidates who are eager to work closely with attorneys and other paralegals to achieve our clients' goals.
