Our team is growing! We are looking for a savvy Sr Systems Analyst where you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within our Finance departments. You will be empowered to identify opportunities to improve business performance through the application of technology and/or process improvements; and leading projects while creating plans and documenting requirements to enable achievement of business unit strategic goals. You will also help lead and assist with the ongoing technology planning.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a liaison between the business unit and technical teams in support of the relationship management function and business strategy. Identifies opportunities for process improvements, gathers solution requirements in terms of business capabilities, and creates business process models of current and proposed systems.
Supports the innovation process and the introduction of new solutions through researching competitors, vendors, industry solutions, emerging technologies, and managing RFI/RFP processes.
Provides estimates to develop project plans; monitors and directs project plans, when assigned; identifies and resolves issues; and communicates status of assigned projects. Involved in change management activities. Participates in annual budget cycle.
Maintains a complete understanding of and adheres to the IS Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and standards and systems planning process. Assists with changes to standards.
Mentors less experienced systems analysts.
Configures or develops, tests, implements, and supports software solutions. Ensures solutions meet the stated objectives through facilitation of user acceptance testing.
Ensures that the systems continue to meet the needs of the Business Unit through upgrades and maintenance testing.
Supports and maintains quality of existing software by troubleshooting processes, identifies and resolves problems on a 24-hour emergency need basis.
Provides customer service to end-users (customers) to ensure systems continually meet or exceed the users or customers’ expectations. Participates in escalation situations for projects and support issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in an IT liaison role working with key stakeholders in the business where you are leading the process design, requirements gathering, configuration and testing
SAP or other large ERP system experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in an IT liaison role working with key stakeholders in the business where you led SAP/S4 Hana process design, requirements gathering, configuration and testing
Finance module experience
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of business and strategic planning process
Knowledge of systems development principles, theories and concepts
Change management and project management experience
Lean / six sigma / continuous improvement experience
Advanced Business process management and modeling skills.
