May oversee, lead, implement, coordinate, and/or provide training. Evaluate training effectiveness and monitor quality to support the retention of covered material and to contribute to the professional growth of associates. Provide direction on the assessment of programs and methodologies to ensure that development and training initiatives are successful. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develop, coordinate, and produce training programs using adult learning principles to contribute to the success of personnel Identify, oversee, develop, update and maintain appropriate training materials, tools, programs, and procedures in an accurate and timely manner in order to support the staff and functions of the department Ensure curriculum meets learning objectives and contributes to an overall, enhanced performance outcome Revise training procedures and related documentation as needed. Calibrate with management to design, execute, and support development initiatives and identify appropriate support resources and processes. May oversee the development of new training programs Monitor training effectiveness by observing training sessions Prepare and deliver observation evaluations in order to provide performance evaluations as well as recommendations to management on possible improvement opportunities May research, evaluate and prepare cost benefit analysis and make recommendations regarding technology-based training Ensure representation on special projects. Maintain current knowledge of company products and services, relevant systems and various methods of training delivery Be a subject matter expert (SME) on the DSC training materials and resources Gather, analyze and incorporate input from multiple stakeholders to design, create, deliver and maintain learning resources (Axonify, Talla, etc.) Ability to take on special projects and responsibilities that will take advantage of your unique product knowledge and advanced training skills Ability to collaborate with different teams, departments, and personnel to accomplish assigned tasks or projects Serve as a mentor for other members of the team Maintain files and records of training attendance, completion, certification and evaluation Obtain and interpret feedback of results to determine if the training was effective, and to identify opportunities to improve materials, coursework, and results Develop training activities to assist trainers to strengthen their training tools Evaluate training's impact and results in the business and in training; reports findings and makes a significant contribution to planning and other core processes Possesses flexibility related to scheduling in order to meet deliverables and due dates ABOUT YOU: You help promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the department and the larger organization.
