Perform software analysis, functional, regression and performance testing, and apply black box and white box testing techniques. Lead a team of Quality Engineers in the manual and automation testing of VUE software. Drive the automation best practices group and work to enhance and expand the testing frameworks and tools. Provide leadership and prioritization for QE teammates. Develop project level testing strategy artifacts. Provide high level project testing solutions and estimates. Create, review, and execute feature test cases within the Pearson VUE automation framework (Selenium with Gauge framework in Java). Collaborate with developers and quality engineers to enhance regression coverage and maintain the automated regression suit. Create, enhance, maintain testing utilities as needed. Manual test case creation, review, and execution. Document defects and keep the storyboard up to date. Establish and follow industry standard automation testing methodology. Identify process improvements, conduct gap and root-cause analysis, and make recommendations to peers and management. Actively participate in Agile development, testing and CI/CD methodologies. Position is fixed based in Bloomington, MN office; However, telecommuting from a home office location may also be allowed.
