SEAGATE TECHNOLOGY (NRM) Device Physics Intern - Summer 2025 in Bloomington, Minnesota
About our group: This Device Physics R&D Intern position is located at Seagate's R&D site in Bloomington, MN. About the role - you will: be expected to assess new reader technology by developing new models if necessary. coordinate the work with their peer group and improve the existing reader model capability for product roadmap purposes. About you: Good verbal and written communication skills are essential to this position. Prior intern experience is preferred but not required. Your experience includes: Experience in Micromagnetic modeling Coding experience in Fortran Basic knowledge on magnetic recording Student pursuing a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics. Location: Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
