ConvergeOne C1 Applications Development Sr. Team Lead in Bloomington, Minnesota

The Application Development Sr. Team Lead is a key role reporting to the Senior Manager, Application Development. The Sr. Team Lead drives, and provides mentoring to Software Developers, in designing and building Frontend (UX/UI), Backend (server-side Integration/Processing), Automation (bots and Intelligent Virtual Assistants), Data Services, and/or Integration Platform as a Service ConvergeOne (C1) software. The Sr. Team Lead identifies/confirms and prioritizes requirements, drives the technical design, and provides subject matter expertise and mentoring to a team of C1 developers and contractors in the coding and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) of C1 software. The Sr. Team Lead will in some cases undertake coding of complex services and will lead development sprints and daily standup meetings. Designs and develops software incorporating leading-edge concepts for C1 software products of new features for assigned GA products per the product roadmap(s) and continuous requirements definition. Designs and develops custom features for GA products. Works with C1 Advanced Services, implementation Cutover and supports for new GA products, features and customizations. Works with C1 Advanced Services and the Customer Success Centers, provides Tier 3/4 Day2 services including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and bug fixes for assigned GA software products. Provides subject matter expertise and mentoring for the software development team including Software Developers, Senior Software Developers, Contractors, and Interns carrying out tasks associated with the above Essential Functions building, testing and cutting-over new products, features and customizations for the assigned GA products. Assembles requirements for new features for the product roadmap for assigned GA products. These requirements come from a variety of sources including customers, C1 sales, industry/competitive trends, and internal ideation. Updates and maintains GA product technical documentation and code repositories. Participates in the support of the presales process for assigned GA products. Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities Stays current on evolving programming languages and development methodologies. Stays current on evolving Customer Experience Management (CX) technologies, applications, and platforms; this includes but is not limited to the cloud and customer-premise versions of Contact Center Infrastructure (CCI) platforms, enterprise applications, CX Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions. Evaluates and scopes application development initiatives. Provides technical guidance and inputs for the Go-To-Market activities for assigned GA products.
