Cook Medical Program Manager in Bloomington, Indiana
Overview
The Program Manager for global ERP implementation supports senior leadership in developing, classifying, leading and executing corporate programs and projects, including the dependencies and conflicts between them. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
Provide a single point of contact for all aspects of the assigned programs and projects, interacting as necessary with team members and stakeholders at all levels of management.
Work with key stakeholders in the divisions, entities and functions to define full program scope and lead the operational planning and project managment for assigned the projects at a program leve l.
Esta blish meeting agen das, facil itate team discussions, and drive clear and t imely team actions and decisions.
Multi-project coordinatio n.
Pro-act ively addresses barriers and risks to program progress, keeping leadership informed of critical considerations.
Lead and facil itate team discussion and documentatio n of new inform ation , including pros, cons, and risks.
Ensure that program deliverables are achieved on or ahead of schedule, within budget, and with quality that meets or exceeds business needs.
Work with project teams and leadership to aggregate and synthesize program KPIs and organizational metrics.
Manages scheduled and ad-hoc program status reporting
Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
Expert in listening and understanding what motivates team members and stakeholders to establish and maintain engagement and support.
Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
Must have effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
A bility to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Qualifications
Qualifications:
B.S. Degree or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
A minimum of 10 years project management experience or leadership capacity handling multiple projects
Experience with managing and directing project team members towards a defined objective
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software tools
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
Attends and leads various strategic and informational meetings
Works under general office environmental conditions
Requires close visual acuity when working with computers, etc.
Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences
Domestic and global travel as required
The employee is occasionally required to stand for extended periods
The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel or crouch
