Job Description As a Printer Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printer assembly process. Your responsibilities will include: Unboxing and Staging: You will unbox printers and stage them on the designated workbench. No need to unbind cords from the printer packaging; we’ll handle that separately. Firmware Upgrades: Following the existing Supplier run book, you’ll perform firmware upgrades on the printers. This step is essential to keep our printers up-to-date and functioning optimally. Quality Assurance: As a Supplier technician, you’ll meticulously quality-check each printer. Your task is to validate that the correct firmware has been applied and that the printers are in perfect working condition. Restocking and Tracking: After quality checks, you’ll box up the printers and return them to the pallets for restocking. Additionally, you’ll maintain records of the total number of printers completed each day, providing consolidated updates to our valued customers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with using computers and basic software tools would be helpful. Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in handling printers and firmware upgrades is a plus. Good Communication: Clear communication when reporting daily printer numbers would be beneficial.
