Job Summary
As a Payroll Specialist II in the vending service industry, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining payroll for employees. Proficient in managing payroll operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Skilled in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing timely support to optimize payroll processes. A team player with a high level of professionalism and calm in assisting our team members is essential. This role requires a sense of urgency and adherence to deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Conduct thorough reviews of timecards and promptly make necessary adjustments.
? Obtain all required timesheet approvals and diligently follow up to facilitate precise payroll processing.
? Understands questions/issues presented and suggests resolutions to issues.
? Identifies inefficiencies to the existing processes; provides documentation and testing to implement process changes and provides training for the team.
? Support all payroll applications and offer recommendations for future enhancements and improvements.
? Oversee and monitor the payroll services email distribution box, promptly addressing or redirecting communications as required.
? Execute payroll processing and off-cycle checks in strict adherence to service level agreements.
? Completes necessary corrections listed on internal data audits.
? Demonstrates customer service leadership on cross-functional projects within the department, coordinating multiple teams effectively.
? Recognizes issues or trending work orders; raises questions about the impact to others and or other applications while providing troubleshooting and resolution suggestions.
? Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
? Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
? Possesses 2 years of prior experience in payroll operations or human resources.
? Previous experience working with clients in a fast paced, complex, deadline-oriented service environment.
? Payroll processing knowledge and timekeeping system experience.
? Strong attention to details and problem-solving abilities.
