Blue Chip Talent Production Supervisor in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
GENERAL NATURE and SCOPE Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for executing the production plan on the shop floor and within defined boundaries. This position focuses on maintaining a smooth flow of material and the execution of work orders to on-time completion. The Production Supervisor leads, directs and manages all other production resources, including the use of people, machines, tools, fixtures and software where necessary. This position is the "front-line" of management and is responsible for executing disciplinary actions when company policies or union agreements are not followed.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience

``` - Must be knowledgeable in the proper handling of chemicals and waste, both hazardous and nonhazardous, as defined by FDA, OSHA, EPA, and DOT.Prepares the facilities and personnel for overtime when required.

``` - Executes the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards. - Maintains accurate records of production and reporting the status of work. - Appropriately enforces the collective agreement in detail. - Reports all anticipated delays to the Master Production Scheduler. - Analyses of safety incidents to determine the root cause and develops an implementation strategy to prevent reoccurrences. - Executes all operator-conducted preventative maintenance tasks in a timely fashion. - Executes disciplinary action when required. - Maintains OSHA standards and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are enforced. - Executes procedures, documentation and assures the proper care for any injured worker.
