Insight Global Remote Python Devops Engineer in Bloomfield, Connecticut
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Devops Engineer to support a large healthcare client. This person will be supporting a shared service team. This engineer will be responsible for writing python scripts to automate ansible playbooks. This engineer must be extremely well versed in python and bash scripting. Hands on experience with git/git hub will be essential in this role. This engineer will be using a variety of infrastructure automation tools (ex. Ansible, terraform and helm). Every two months this engineer will be responsible for managing the Service Now tickets.
Compensation:
$70/hr to $80/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
DevOps Engineer that is extremely skilled in Python scripting
Comfort following versioning and release strategies with git/GitHub
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (such as Ansible/Terraform/Helm)
Computer Science Degree Experience with Internal Developer Platform (IDP)
