+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Summary: | | | | The Electrical/Mechanical Assembler will work closely with other | | assemblers to build capital equipment primarily used in the metal | | forming industry. You must be able to read blueprints, know how to | | use a variety of hand and power tools, and able to stand for extended | | periods. | | | | Responsibilities: * | | | | - Responsible for using equipment such as drills, wrenches, | | screwdrivers, crimping tools, cutters, and any other equipment | | that will assist in the satisfactory performance of duties. | | - Build equipment based on accurate and efficient interpretation of | | drawings, schematics, blueprints, and sketches | | - Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality | | - Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or | | production travelers | | - Responsible for good housekeeping of individual work area | | | | | | *Requirements: | | | | - Experience in the assembly of industrial electrical components, | | wiring of instruments and units, and the use of all equipment | | associated with the satisfactory performance of duties. | | - Knowledge using mechanical equipment associated with performance | | of duties. | | - Minimum of 3+ years experience | | - Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings, measuring scale and | | tape proficiency | | - Ability to work in a team or solo environment. | | - High school diploma or GED required | | | | | | Plus: | | | | - Trade school or certificate in electronics, engineering, | | manufacturing technology or a related area | | - Understanding of the metal forming and wire forming industries | | - Experience with material handling equipment | | - Knowledge of PLCs, servo motor drives, switches, sensors, relays, | | motor starters and other industrial devices used in machine | | control | | | | | | | | Additional Notes: | | | | Performs other assignments as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or | | higher supervisor/s. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
