Hotel, Motel and Resort Desk Clerks:

Island Entertainment, Inc. dba Spring House Hotel located on Block Island, RI in Washington County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2025-10/31/2025, 40 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary; 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and/or 11pm-7am. (10) Openings. Will train to assist guests to check in and out of hotel, assign rooms, issue room keys, process cash and credit card transactions, and make reservations. $17.25 p/hour or $25.88 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59 p/day with receipts. The worker will be provided with or reimbursed for transportation from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, IF the worker completes 50 per cent of the period of employment cover by the job order. The employer will provide or pay for the workers cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from with the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, IF the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed from employment for any reason by the employer before the end of the period. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting Friday at 12:01 am and ending Thursday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through the employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is $110.00 p/week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period. A $300 refundable damage security deposit is to be paid to the employer at the start of employment. Deposit is refundable if the housing unit is left in the same condition as when received - cleaned, all personal items removed, all items supplied and still in place, outside cleaned (if applicable), no damages. Housing is optional. Meals are available for a 50% discount when working. No transportation is provided to worksite.
