What is the job about?

As our new Test Automation Engineer, you will become an essential part of a Scrum team, securing that our solutions are delivering the right value to our customers by developing automated end-to-end tests from hardware (such as pumps, controllers, communication devices, sensors) to web and mobile user interface.

Another key responsibility of yours is making sure that the right solutions are implemented when discovering implications and hurdles when testing. To solve this task, you delegate the responsibility within your Scrum team.

Furthermore, you think strategically to reuse and automate. Thinking modularly is important, as well as finding solutions, that covers every eventuality when testing end-to-end.

Your background

Besides your technical knowledge of test automation, your diligence is your most important personality trait. Being able to combine your knowhow and thoroughness enables you to make sure, that the products of your team always live up to the high-quality standards of Grundfos.

Additionally, your ability to lead is important as well. You will be responsible for the quality assurance – which means you will have to pass on responsibility to your team, when problem-solving.

Additionally, you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master´s degree within engineering, software, computer science or any related branch of study

  • Have experience with test automation of hardware, web and / or mobile

  • Have experience in testing web API’s and IoT Devices

  • Have experience in working with communication protocols like Modbus TCP

  • Have good programming skills preferably in python

  • Have good communication skills, and you speak and write English fluently

  • Have experience in setting up continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines
