Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius Archway Clinic is looking for a Clinic Manager to join the team!

The manager directly oversees and mentors clinic associates. The manager is responsible for the operations of clinics, ensures and maintains operational efforts within the guidelines, policies, and procedures of the clinic model. The manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of clinics including scheduling of resources, process and equipment excellence, tidiness and appearance of facilities, patient experience, Key Performance Indicators adherence and outcome success, and employee management and retention. In collaboration with division leadership, establishes and maintains outcomes that meet clinic standards and key performance indicators. The manager is expected to assist with the oversight of the financial, operational, brand, facility, and referral performance. Works in a dyad model with the Lead Physician and Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP), clinic managers, supervisors, coordinators and reports to the Clinic Director.

What You'll Do:

  1. Monitors, manages, assists, and organizes team, responsibilities, and resources to achieve success in all areas of the clinic including strategic, operational, financial, clinical, integration, and brand goals.

  2. In collaboration with employees and leadership, builds a clinic culture of quality and safety, operational efficiency, customer experience excellence, brand promotion and immersion, and comprehensive integration through standardization, relationship building, management of resources, and outcomes monitoring.

  3. Responsible to maintain financial accountability by reviewing monthly variance reports and implements action plans with guidance of the Clinic Director.

  4. Assists with annual budget process, implementation and assurance that departments maintain operations within that budget.

  5. Monitors and manages teams and resources to strengthen and maintain clinic operational model including quality of care, scope of service, scope of practice, inventory formularies, customer experience, and brand immersion. Mentors and coaches clinic associates to achieve goals for improvement in all areas.

  6. Monitors key performance indicators (door-to-door times, Net Promoter Scores, patients per provider per hour, financial metrics, clinical metrics) and develops and activates action plans to address areas for improvement.

  7. Participates with and makes recommendations to senior leadership to make decisions that affect the strategic direction, operational model, brand, and quality patient care within the enterprise operation.

  8. Manages associates including selection, training, mentorship, education, scheduling, time off coordination and management, and discipline.

  9. Assists in the management of APPs including scheduling, time off coordination, and discipline.

  10. Utilizes division leadership to assess the effectiveness, through-put, and patient experience within the clinics and implements provided feedback.

  11. Maintains technical skills to provide support and expertise including patient registration, patient financial responsibilities (point of service collections), and referral process.

  12. Needs to be available for emergency facility, patient, employee and security issues during all clinic hours (8-8, 7 days a week - Urgent Care Clinic only).

  13. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience

Required Minimum Knowlege:

  • Professional knowledge in staffing and scheduling processes patient logistics and patient flow processes with the ability to prepare necessary analyses, reports, policies and budgets

  • Ability to direct the work of teams and assigned resources

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to promote teamwork and build effective working relationships

  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

  • Ability to lead teams

  • Project management and performance improvement experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Knowledge of medical office procedures

  • Skill in mentoring and providing feedback to others

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure

  • Maintains positive and professional manner at all times

Pay Range

$27.93 - $43.29
