An exceptional opportunity to be part of Transformation, Risk & Assurance – Credit risk lifecycle team supporting and protecting the growth of the consumer segment with a focus on analysis and accurate forecasting of bad debt.

This role helps ensure cost performance relating to collections and bad debt is controlled, predictable and clearly understood and that business improvements and change initiatives are accurately prioritized and evaluated.

Work closely with other parts of Credit risk lifecycle team teams to deliver and drive improvements in aged debt, bad debt and involuntary churn.

What you’ll be doing

• Executes range of financial analysis, preparation of reports and other finance activities to support Consumer unit finance priorities, working across the finance teams as required

• Month-end reviews – journal entries and P&L/ Balance sheet impacts

• Preparing management summary information and slide decks

• Providing insight into bad debt performance and covering meetings

• Managing stakeholder communications

• Helping with compliance, risk assessment and audit queries

• Preparing & supporting bad debt forecasting

• Taking accountability for, monthly reporting, outlook, and the Medium-Term Plan (MTP) for bad debt charges

The experience we're looking for

• Part qualified accountant or person with finance experience including forecasting & planning, with relevant in job experience.

• Strong skills in managing multiple stakeholders and projects within tight deadlines, coupled with the ability to navigate and resolve ambiguity.

• Demonstrates problem solving and analytical capabilities, and adeptly manages conflicting priorities. Have worked extensively with MS office software.

• Proficiency in clear and concise communication, capable of articulating the business's performance to diverse non-finance audiences.

• A pragmatic team player who excels at holding others accountable through a challenging yet supportive approach, consistently fulfilling their own commitments.
