Job Duties/Description:
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabamaseeks aWebFOCUS Content Administrator, Business Intelligence inBirmingham, Alabamaresponsibleforassisting with installation, configuration, and support of the WebFOCUS products in a large scale environment. Create metadata and develop appropriate policies to manage access to application content for external and internal users using WebFOCUS consoles. Analyze, test, and implement new product releases. Work with the Application App in setting up domains for Managed Reporting, manage WebFOCUS Application Studio (content development tool) and WebFOCUS Security Center (once the security structures have been defined, approved and implemented), and migrate WebFOCUS code to provide quality assurance for production environments. Assist development staff with troubleshooting issues related to WebFOCUS, perform content rights management and administration for WebFOCUS users, and actively engage the vendor to manage customer related issues and escalations relating to the WebFOCUS product. Provide detailed analysis of data related issues, implement resolutions accordingly, and maintain an inventory of reports and changes. Keep abreast of latest WebFOCUS product developments from vendors, and work closely with a team of Health Care Analysts, Project Managers, and other managers to execute projects and business strategies.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in a business intelligence or related occupation. The position also requires demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following: WEBFOCUS tool including Report Caster, Resource Analyzer, Developer Studio, and Application Studio; JavaScript; SQL Server; CSS and JQUERY for web application designing; iWay Service Manager; Oracle 19c; MYSQL; Linux(RHEL); UNIX Shell scripting; C++; JIRA; and Tomcat.
