Insight Global Sr HRIS Analyst in Birmingham, Alabama

Job Description

Insight Global is searching for a Sr. HRIS Analyst for a large municipality in Birmingham, AL. This candidate will partner with the HR Team, Accounting/Payroll, IT, PMO, internal clients and external vendors to analyze system process design and flow, improve processes, and leverage the return on HR technology capabilities. The Senior HRIS Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules and can work effectively with others to set HR technology priorities and long-term planning. This position serves as the technical point of contact for HR technology (SuccessFactors, Kronos, etc.) and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows, annual process configurations, dashboard reporting and process improvement opportunities. Supports cloud based SuccessFactors (SF) and other HR systems upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. The position ensures accurate best practice business process workflows are in place within SF to support the administration of talent management/acquisition, compensation programs, annual performance reviews, benefits administrations and open enrollment, payroll, learning management and succession planning, and reporting efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Develops collaborative and proactive relationships with Human Resources staff, Accounting / Payroll, IT, PMO, 3rd party vendors and various operational teams to effectively prioritize and execute human resources technology needs, including the development of proper training and documentation.

- Supports multiple modules in HRIS to include Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation, Learning Management and Succession, timekeeping, etc.

- Identifies trends, design, implementation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and other enhancements to ensure successful utilization of systems.

- Researches and resolves HR technology unexpected results or process flaws and recommends solutions to alternate methods to meet requirements.

- Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety or reports or queries utilizing advanced reporting tools such as calculated fields, matrix and composite reports.

- Configures and administer security roles for SuccessFactors, Kronos, and other HR technology platforms.

- Helps maintain high degree of data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data

- Prepares dashboards and reports for stakeholders and senior leadership

- Implements and administers reporting capabilities to provide and track HR metrics and predictive analytics.

- Updates and maintain business processes and condition rules

- Assists users within HR and in the Organization as needed to enable them to more effectively utilize all HR systems.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field.

 5+ years within HRIS systems (SuccessFactors), analytics, & processes

 Strong experience working with various modules within an HRIS such as Employee Central, Recruiting Management, Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Learning Management, Time/Attendance, or Workforce Analytics

 Strong focus towards User Experience

 Fundamental knowledge of position management as it relates to HR systems

 Experience in report writing including calculated fields, matrix reports and composite reporting

 Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Products (advanced excel skills) and Project Management software

 Strong ability to prepare dashboards and reports to include workforce and predictive analytics Masters degree highly preferred

 PMP Cert

 Proven aptitude and demonstrated interest in statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression preferred

 Proficiency with data visualization and graphics tools such as Tableau for the creation of reports and dashboards is a plus null
