Insight Global Maintenance Technician Level 1 in Birmingham, Alabama
Job Description
- Contractor will have a mentor for the first few months
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Assist with fleet maintenance
- Perform basic repairs on buildings
- Respond to service calls

Skills and Requirements
- must be adaptable and punctual
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- must have own transportation and be able to get to the work before 7AM every morning
o Schedule M-F 6:45AM - 3:45PM
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Experience usings hand tools and power equipment - Apprenticeship or experience in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical trade
o 2-3 years preferred
- Degree or certification from technical college
- Experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair of equipment
- Knowledge of building codes (electrical, plumbing, heating/ventilating & air conditioning-HVAC), and building null
