Humana Associate Actuary in Birmingham, Alabama
Description
The Associate Actuary will be responsible of the Pharmacy Group projection model and will work closely with stakeholders to ensure projections are within expectations. The associate will need to be creative and energized to adapt to different scenarios as Part D legislation keeps changing in the future.
Responsibilities
The Associate Actuary will be responsible for managing the Employer Group projections. This entails a number of responsibilities such as learning the model, make coding modifications, and work and understand all the assumptions embedded in the model. The associate will be working closely with the pricing team and assumption owners. The associate will be developing new tools and reports as needed to better understand the results of the model.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
Meets eligibility requirements for Humana's Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP)
MAAA
Strong communication
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAS and SQL
Part D Knowledge
