Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cloud Security Engineer in Bird In Hand, Pennsylvania. This role involves leading a team of technology professionals and ensuring the smooth operation and security of our systems. Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of system administrators, network engineers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize technology operations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute technology projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect our systems, data, and infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to technology operations and data privacy.
• Evaluate and select technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Utilize key skills such as Fortinet Firewalls, Aruba, VMware, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, and Microsoft SharePoint. Requirements • Proficient in Fortinet Firewalls
• Experience with Aruba
• Expertise in VMware
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
• Proven experience in cloud security engineering
• Ability to design, test, and implement security measures for cloud-based applications
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and risk management
• Familiarity with industry security standards and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
