About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse business requirements, create innovative solutions, and optimise workflows to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development
Design and develop custom applications using Power Apps.
Create and manage workflows and automation processes using Power Automate.
Build and optimise dashboards and reports using Power BI for actionable insights.
Develop chatbots and virtual agents using Power Virtual Agents.
Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Integration and Customisation:
Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft tools such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Office 365.
Customise solutions to ensure they align with organisational needs.
Work with APIs, connectors, and third-party applications to extend platform capabilities.
Performance Optimisation:
Monitor and maintain Power Platform solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.
Implement best practices for scalability, maintainability, and security.
Support and Maintenance:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Power Platform solutions.
Provide training and technical support to end-users.
Document solutions, workflows, and processes for future reference.
Collaboration and Continuous Learning:
Collaborate with IT and business teams to align solutions with organisational goals.
Stay updated on the latest Power Platform features, updates, and industry trends.
Recommend improvements and new tools to enhance productivity.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents).
Strong understanding of data modelling, databases (e.g., SQL, Dataverse), and integration methods.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
Knowledge of coding languages like JavaScript, HTML, and C# (optional but beneficial).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, PL-400).
Experience in Agile or Scrum development environments.
Understanding of governance and compliance for Power Platform solutions.
