Binghamton University Staff Assistant, Department of Social Work in Binghamton, New York

Budget Title: Staff Assistant (SL-2)

Salary: $49,261

Duties include:

  • Assist with processing and tracking expenditures for offices of social work admissions, field education and student services

  • Support reconciliation of p-card expenditures

  • Track expenditures and ensure proper protocol is followed for processing

  • Assist with Course Building for Social Work

  • Assist with registration

  • Planning, scheduling and assigning work to support staff

  • Providing liaison between the Director/Department Chair and the professional staff of institution with respect to administrative matters

  • Gathering research and statistical data

  • Supervising Graduate Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Student Interns

  • Monitoring faculty and professional appointments with respect to operative dates for contract renewal, permanent appointment

    Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • One or more years of related work experience
