Broome-Tioga BOCES Program Assistant - Shared in Binghamton, New York
This is a shared position between the Communications and Public Relations Department and Document Services.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately maintains financial records
Processes a variety of documents and reports verifying completeness, accuracy and conformity with defined procedures
Utilizes software applications, including but not limited to Excel, Microsoft Teams, Word, Wincap, and Outlook.
Manages inventory and upgrades as necessary
Assist with service requests from customers
Manages onboarding new employees and works closely with human resources to manage the employee experience
Does related duties as required
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree, OR
Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree and two years of clerical experience in an office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet applications; OR
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and four years of clerical experience in an office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet application; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience as outlined by the limits of A), B) and C) above.
